Lead Box Fields

Lead Box fields are data fields used to capture and display information for each lead. Custom fields can be created based on business requirements and then mapped to the Lead Box layout.

Where Are Lead Box Fields Created?

All Lead Box fields are created in the Master Field List. Only fields created in the Master Field List can be added to the Lead Box.

To Create a New Field in the Master Field List, Follow These Steps:

1. Click the Menu and select the Lead Box option.
   
2. Click Lead Box Configuration in the top right corner to open the configuration settings.
   
3. Navigate to the Master Field List section.
   
4. Click Create Field.
   
5. In the pop-up window:
   
   • Enter the Field Name
     
   • Enter the Field Description
     
   • Select the Field Type, such as:
     
     • Text Box
       
     • Dropdown
       
     • Multi-option Dropdown
       
     • Date Picker
       
6. If the selected field type is Dropdown, enter all required dropdown values.
   
7. Click Save.
   

The field is now created and available in the Master Field List.

Are Fields Automatically Visible in the Lead Box After Creation?

No. After creating a field in the Master Field List, it must be mapped to the Lead Box layout to become visible.

To Map a Created Field to the Lead Box, Follow These Steps:

1. From the configuration settings, navigate to Lead Layout Customization.
   
2. Select the required Lead Layout.
   
3. Navigate to the Field Section within the layout.
   
4. Click Add Field.
   
5. Select the created field from the list.
   
6. Choose the required Section, such as the default section.
   
7. If the field type is Dropdown, click Select Options and choose the dropdown values to be displayed.
   
8. Configure field attributes as required:
   
   • Mandatory
     
   • Inline Filter
     
   • Read Only
     
   • Visible in Mobile App
     
9. Click Save.
   

The field is now mapped to the Lead Box.

What Field Attributes Can Be Configured?

While mapping a field, you can configure attributes such as:

• Mandatory field
  
• Inline filter field
  
• Read-only field
  
• Visibility in the mobile application
  

These attributes control how the field behaves in the Lead Box.

To Verify the Added Field in the Lead Box, Follow These Steps:

1. Navigate back to the Lead Box.
   
2. Click New Lead or open an existing lead.
   
3. Review the displayed fields.
   

The newly added field will now be visible in the Lead Box.

Can Multiple Custom Fields Be Added to the Lead Box?

Yes. You can create and map multiple custom fields, and all mapped fields will be reflected in the Lead Box based on the selected layout.
