Integrating Engagenest WhatsApp with CRM allows you to:

Part 1: Integrating Engagenest WhatsApp with CRM

Prerequisites

Before starting:

  • Ensure you have login access to the Engagenest WhatsApp Panel
  • Ensure your WhatsApp templates are approved
  • Keep your API Key ready from Engagenest

Step 1: Open Integration Settings in CRM

  1. Log in to the CRM.
  2. Click the three-line (Menu) icon.
  3. Select Integration.
  4. Click WhatsApp.

Step 2: Retrieve API Key from Engagenest Panel

  1. Open a new browser tab.
  2. Log in to your Engagenest WhatsApp Panel.
  3. Navigate to Settings.
  4. Click API Settings.
  5. Locate the API Key.
  6. Copy the API Key.

Step 3: Connect Engagenest WhatsApp to CRM

  1. Return to the CRM Integration page.
  2. Click Connect under Engagenest WhatsApp.
  3. Paste the API Key into the provided field.
  4. Click Save Integration.

A confirmation message will appear stating that WhatsApp is activated successfully.

Step 4: Verify Integration

  1. Refresh the Integration page.
  2. Click WhatsApp again.
  3. Confirm the status shows Connected.

Integration is now complete.

Part 2: Adding Engagenest WhatsApp Template to CRM

Step 1: Copy Template Details from Engagenest

  1. In the Engagenest panel, go to Manage Templates.
  2. Select an existing approved template.
  3. Copy the Template Name.
  4. Copy the Message Content.

Step 2: Create the Same Template in CRM Content Manager

  1. In CRM, click the Menu.
  2. Select Content Manager.
  3. Click Create Template.
  4. Enter the Template Name exactly as in Engagenest.
  5. Select Type as WhatsApp.
  6. Select Access as Public.
  7. Click Next.
  8. Paste the same Template Name again when prompted.
  9. Click Next.
  10. Paste the message content.
  11. Click Save.

The WhatsApp template is now successfully added to CRM.

Part 3: Creating a WhatsApp Journey Using the Template

Step 1: Create a New Journey

  1. Click the Menu.
  2. Select Journey.
  3. Click New Journey.
  4. Enter the Journey Name.
  5. Select the Start Date.
  6. Select the End Date.
  7. Click Next.

Step 2: Configure Journey Trigger

  1. Select Application as Lead.
  2. Select Event as Lead Creation.
  3. Add condition:
    • Field: Lead Source
    • Operator: Equals
    • Value: Facebook
  4. Click Next.

Step 3: Configure WhatsApp Engagement

  1. Select Trigger Time as Immediately.
  2. Select Engagement Type as WhatsApp.
  3. Select Engagement Audience as External.
  4. Select the created WhatsApp template from the dropdown.
  5. Click Save.

Step 4: Activate the Journey

  1. Click Go.
  2. Confirm activation.

The Journey is now active.

Whenever a new lead is created from Facebook, the WhatsApp message will be triggered automatically.
