Bulk Lead Upload

Bulk Lead Upload allows you to import multiple leads into the CRM in a single action. This is useful when your data is maintained in Excel, CSV files, or Google Sheets and needs to be added to the CRM at once.

Where Can You Upload Leads in Bulk?

Bulk upload is performed from the Lead Box using the Import Lead option.

To Access the Lead Import Option, Follow These Steps:

1. Click the Menu and select the Lead Box option.
   
2. In the top right corner of the Lead Box, click More.
   
3. Select Import Lead and then click New Import.
   

You will be redirected to the Lead Import page.

To Upload a Lead File, Follow These Steps:

1. Select Import Type as Lead Upload.
   
2. Select Action Type as Add New Record.
   
3. Choose the file format:
   
   • CSV (Comma Delimited), or
     
   • XLS
     
4. Click Choose File and upload your lead file.
   
5. Click Next.
   

To Configure Duplicate Handling, Follow These Steps:

1. Choose whether duplicate records should be created:
   
   • Select No to prevent duplicates
     
   • Select Yes to allow duplicates
     
2. Select the duplicate check parameter:
   
   • Mobile Number, or
     
   • Email ID
     
3. Specify whether the mobile numbers include a country code.
   
4. If the country code is not included in the file, select the applicable Country Code.
   
5. Click Next.
   

To Configure Lead Assignment During Import, Follow These Steps:

1. Choose how leads should be assigned:
   
   • Assign all leads to a single lead owner, or
     
   • Assign leads based on lead owners mentioned in the imported file
     
2. If assigning based on the file, select the Header Name that contains the lead owner.
   
3. Click Next.
   

To Map Fields from the File to CRM Fields, Follow These Steps:

1. Review the Field Mapping screen.
   
2. Fields with matching names will be auto-mapped.
   
3. For fields that do not match exactly, manually select the correct CRM field.
   
4. If you do not want a column to be imported, leave it unmapped.
   
5. Click Next.
   

Field mapping is not mandatory for all columns. Only map the fields you want to import.

To Review and Confirm the Import, Follow These Steps:

1. Review the Import Summary, including:
   
   • Duplicate handling settings
     
   • Field mappings
     
   • Lead assignment rules
     
2. Click Confirm and Upload.
   

The system will begin processing the file.

How Can You Check Import Status?

After uploading:

1. Refresh the page.
   
2. Review the import status, which displays:
   
   • File name
     
   • Uploaded by
     
   • Import type
     
   • Total records
     
   • Valid records
     
   • Invalid records
     
   • Duplicate records
     

What Happens to Invalid or Duplicate Records?

• Invalid records may include incorrect mobile numbers or missing mandatory data.
  
• Duplicate records are identified based on the selected duplicate criteria.
  

You can:

• Download invalid records
  
• Download duplicate records
  
• Review reasons for failure
  

Can an Imported File Be Deleted?

Yes, but deletion is permanent.

To Delete an Imported Lead File, Follow These Steps:

1. Click Action next to the imported file.
   
2. Select Delete.
   
3. Confirm the deletion.
   

Once deleted:

• All leads from the file are removed
  
• Related activities, notes, and data are permanently deleted
  
• The action cannot be reverted
  

Use this option carefully.
